Mari Pohlman is a Dallas-based artist who established her design brand, “marpohl” in 2017 and specializes in large-scale murals. Her love of public art has been shaped by her time backpacking and exploring in different cities.

Mari's art journey began after getting an accounting degree and spending six years working in business. Looking for her next move, she took a year off to travel and returned home to Dallas with a stack of sketchbooks full of travel illustrations. As a self-taught artist, she now uses her business background to manage her design brand and lead mural projects with a client-centered approach.

Mari’s work can be seen all over the DFW area and beyond. She has two murals at the Museum of the Southwest. Her mural clients include the Dallas Mavericks, Lyft, Heineken, and more.  She has been featured by CBS 11, FOX 4, D Magazine, the Dallas Observer, and the Dallas Morning News.

In addition to painting murals, Mari offers art consulting services for large projects. She is also certified as a life coach of art therapy and offers interactive workshops and collaborative mural projects for children and adults.
